As of July 1, 2008, per s. 322.12(5)(a), F.S., every first-time applicant (regardless of age) for licensure to operate a motorcycle must provide proof of completion of a motorcycle safety course before the applicant may be licensed to operate a motorcycle. Riding a motorcycle without the endorsement is a criminal violation.
Our school is also a licensed affiliate of the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. This relationship allows FSR to administer the mandatory basic motorcycle rider's course for licensure on behalf of the state.
Classes are offered for novice and experienced riders. FSR provides the bikes and helmets, although the Experienced Rider Course is conducted on your own bike. Private lessons can be taken on our bike or yours.
